Aggressively growing local title agency looking for outstanding, positive, motivated, career-oriented individual to join our growing team.
Qualified applicants will possess a minimum of 2 years of settlement processing experience and will be a licensed title agent in the State of Virginia. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, show initiative, possess strong organizational skills, be enthusiastic and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Submit completed title commitments to lenders/clients.
Monitor the title clearing process with the lenders to ensure meeting closing dates.
Clear title exceptions; prepare final title policies.
Arrange for discharge/satisfaction of deed trust/mortgage and obtains payoff figures.
Drafts documents for purchase/sale and refinance transactions (releases, affidavits, HUD and other closing documents) and maintains liaison with lenders and clients.
Work directly with clients, lenders and attorneys.
Coordinate various aspects of transaction closing including assembly and preparation of documents for signature.
Coordinate with all parties concerning post-closing questions or documents.
Applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn software applications.
Knowledge or experience with Title Express (TSS Software) is a plus.
