A  lot has changed in our industry, but our strong commitment to our members remains the same. Since its formation in 1974, Virginia Land Title Association has worked to protect the land title industry in Virginia. In essence, our mission remains the same, to advance the efficient and secure transfer of ownership of real property by proactively serving its members, the consumer, and affiliated associations.

VLTA is proud of our past and current initiatives that not only support our profession but elevate its creditability while offering more protection to the consumer.

TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader.  On TED.com, we make the best talks and performances from TED and partners available to the world for FREE. More than 900 TEDTalks are now available, with the list growing weekly.

The Mission: We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world.
